Private tutoring for SATs proves beneficial

Nearly 2.2 million SAT tests are taken annually, according to Reuters. This number is expected to rise due to the increase in foreign-born students competing for spots at prestigious American universities. Due to this reason, many students are turning to tutoring for college entrance exams such as ACT, LSAT, SAT, SAT II and PSAT tutor courses to help improve their chances of SAT success.

According to a recent study by the National Association of College Admission Counseling, 20 to 40 percent of colleges agreed that “a 20-point math increase or a 10-point reading increase would significantly improve a student`s chance of admission.”

In order to get ahead of the game, students can improve their chances of SAT success by receiving individualized SAT test tutoring that focuses on each student’s specific testing needs. Tutoring also offers students the opportunity to take a practice SAT diagnostic test.
